The Bannen Way

vanessa marcil steals the show
the hot chick often steals the show in heist films. in 'bannen way', vanessa marcil does just that with more than her statuesque features and hot body. she's compelling and watchable. the audience identifies with her, despite the story being told from the male lead's point of view.

mark gantt has written a decent story, but i found him to be the downer of the film. he's too pretentious and cliched. i don't buy him as the hero. however, he and marcil have massive chemistry, which ultimately saves the film.

the supporting cast is excellent, except for the three "bimbos". clearly this was written by a guy and for guys. as a woman i enjoyed it anyway because of the heart vanessa marcil brought to the film.

overall, it's an impressive web film. the high production value makes it a genre-leader in the web category.

Snatch + Oceans 11 + Fight Club = Bannen Way - Loved It!
This movie was slick like oceans 11 but gritty like rock n rolla or Snatch. Neal Bannen smoothy gets out of trouble all most everytime and when he doesn't, he gets smacked up. This film has fight club quality scenes in it mixed with a slickness of Oceans 11 and Snatch that you're not gonna wanna miss. Did I mention Vanessa Marcil is in it? A must watch.

Bannen Way should be required viewing material!
Jesse Warren and Mark Gantt put together a stylized action movie with tons of intrigue and fun! This film will always mark the start of big budget production on the web. The supporting cast alone is worth the price of admission! Look forward to seeing more from this awesome team!
